IHRN attends ADC Annual Awards Gala

     On Friday December 9, 2011, IHRN attended the prestigious ADC Annual Awards Gala at the legendary Hyatt Regency Dearborn.
     Under the motto of “preserving civil liberties in a changing world,” ADC Sr. National Advisor, Imad Hamad, and ADC Greater Detroit Chapter President, Zouheir Alawieh, welcomed the enthusiastic attendees and thanked them for their support to the ADC.
The big event was attended by over 1,000 guests which included many political and community leaders, personalities and activists.
     Remarks by Congressmen Hansen Clarke and John Conyers and U.S. Senator Debbie Stabenow assured the support to ADC and pledged to maintain close ties with this civil rights organization which has been committed to defending and promoting the rights and liberties of people of Arab descent.
     IHRN congratulates ADC on their accomplishments and wishes them many years of continuous success and achievements, fighting for human and civil rights of all people. What an amazing evening, congratulations ADC!
